In the summer semester of 2021, DEUREX AG entered into a research cooperation with the Dr. Theo Schöller Endowed Chair for Technology and Innovation Management at the Technical University of Munich .
In the so-called Lead User Project, we are systematically developing novel product concepts together with 12 Master students over the period of the summer semester 2021.
The Lead User Method was developed by Prof. Dr. Eric von Hippel (MIT) for the generation of novel product concepts. It was further developed for other applications at the TIM Chair at TUM. It is a market research tool that collects information about the needs and solutions of such users who are ahead of the current trends in the respective market.

The project culminates in a workshop with the goal of commercializing the most promising ideas.
