Project Description
DEUREX AG is in active exchange with the institute "Macromolecular and Paper Chemistry (MAP)".
The MAP's core competencies range from the synthesis of functional polymers and customized polymer surface coatings to the design of functional papers and paper-reinforced composites. Therefore, both DEUREX AG and MAP can benefit from a close research cooperation.
Research project (IGF 21373 BG) "Wax-polymer coatings for regenerative superhydrophobicity of paper products."
The goal is to optimize our BIOMERE so that it functions as a perfect substitute for conventional polymer paper coatings.
BIOMERE guarantee the same properties (superhydrophobicity, resistance, etc.) as conventional solutions with the difference of being free of microplastics, as well as biodegradable.
